Jia Hao (Jessie)
Associate Professor of Marketing
Dr. Jia Hao obtained her Ph.D. in Business Administration from Sun Yat-sen University. Master's Supervisor. She is a Master's Supervisor and Senior Lecturer in MBA programs. She is also a Research Fellow at CMC China Marketing Research Center, and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Asia-Pacific Institute of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. As a visiting scholar, she has conducted research at the Berlin School of Economics and Law in Germany, the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in the United States, the Asia-Pacific Institute of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the GIES College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the United States. Her research interests include brand management, consumer innovation, and cross-cultural psychology. She teaches courses including Marketing Management, Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research, Marketing Theories and Studies and other undergraduate and graduate courses conducted entirely in English. She is leading the construction of a provincial first-class Online-and-Offline Hybrid Course titled Consumer Behavior in China. Furthermore, she has guided student teams to win national and provincial research awards multiple times. She serves as the principal investigator of one national natural science project, is involved in three national, provincial, and ministerial-level scientific research projects, and participated in the compilation of academic monographs such as Consumer Behavior and Handbook of Personality and Social Psychological Measurement. She has published multiple papers in top academic journals (SSCI, CSSCI) such as Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology, Psychological Research and Behavioral Management, Foreign Economics and Management, Journal of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Economics, and International Economics and Trade Research. She has won the Outstanding Research Performance Award from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies multiple times.
